Set in a serene landscape on the quiet southeast side of the island, Mantri Cottage enjoys a privileged location between two of Serifos’ most attractive beaches. Secluded Lia, surrounded by amazing scenery, appeals in particular to those who appreciate placid surroundings. Agios Sostis is an inviting shingle and sand beach, overlooked by a white church standing on a small promontory. Both beaches are easily accessible on foot from the cottage, which is only a short drive from the main town of Hora and the port of Livadi with its shops, tavernas and café-bars. The area around the residence is ideal for leisurely walks in the unspoilt countryside.

Description

Imaginatively laid out on a single level, the stone-built residence creates a striking impression in its pastoral setting. The 230m2 cottage retains all the authentic elements of a traditional homestead. The exterior stone walls are not only highly attractive but also provide the utmost privacy and protection against the wind. The interior too, featuring stone surfaces and visible wooden ceiling beams, is in complete harmony with the rustic environment.

The cottage has four double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, three with double beds and the other with two built-in single beds. One of the rooms with a double bed has its own private veranda, while another is accessed via an independent entrance from the pool area.

The spacious lounge and dining area is flooded with natural light that streams in through French windows. This area, with its own WC, opens onto two inner courtyards, where guests can relax in sun loungers beside the pool or savour outdoor dining while taking in views of the dazzling white cubic houses of Hora clustered just below the summit of the rocky height. Adjacent to the pool area, there is an outdoor kitchen for cooking under the stars. Stairs lead to a terrace with unobstructed panoramic views of Agios Sostis beach, Hora and Lia beach.
